Moderated virtual conferences, especially for the first “pre-kick off” event to align your global team with the following goals: building the team spirit, fostering trust, establishing clear-cut team-rules to support the virtual leadership approach and empowering people to excell beyond todays operating style.

Event Details

Target Participants

  • All members of a new project team, including Management & Team Members, should attend
  • Single shared objective (= project assignment)
  • Some or all team activity depends on Virtual Teamwork, that is not everybody is in the same location all the time.

Objectives

  • Achieve early Rapport among participants
  • Set the scene for the Kick-Off meeting (or as first item in a kick-off meeting in which the technical kick-off issues are addressed)
  • Establishes mutual understanding of Team Processes, in particular Communication Norms
  • Supplements or replaces the team cohesion aspects of live kick-off meeting

Exclusions

  • Does not cover the technical / professional aspects of kick-off. We can also manage the actual kick-off – please enquire.

Participant Prerequisites

  • Individual PC and direct broadband internet access from the location of each individual participant (taking care of your company firewalls)
  • Personal microphone & Headset OR parallel Telephone Conference for voice communication
  • Separate room per participant (to avoid microphone echos)
  • Personal electronic photograph for publication
  • Access to selected Conferencing Application and Web Publication (without the need for any application installation)
